I'm a teacher, researcher and educational designer, and I speak Spanish, English and French. I did my undergraduate degree at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional de Colombia and my master's at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, and ever since, my path has been tied to language teaching: I've worked as an academic coordinator of English and, today, I'm a registered teacher in Australia (VIT/AITSL) and an exam coach certified directly by IDP, Pearson and Paragon — the creators of PTE, CELPIP and IELTS.Soy profesora, investigadora y diseñadora educativa, y hablo español, inglés y francés. Estudié mi pregrado en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional de Colombia y mi maestría en la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, y desde entonces mi camino ha estado ligado a la enseñanza de idiomas: he trabajado como coordinadora académica de inglés y, hoy, soy profesora registrada en Australia (VIT/AITSL) y coach de examen certificada directamente por IDP, Pearson y Paragon — los creadores del PTE, CELPIP e IELTS.
But before the degrees and certifications, there's my story as a migrant, which is the reason Bilingualearn exists. Like many of you, I went through student visas, the COVID visa, VET courses, and I even obtained residency in Canada. It was a long road, made of exams, paperwork and starting over again and again. And along that road, Australia was the country that captivated me: here I decided to stay, and here the idea was born to help other Latino migrants avoid getting lost in the same maze I went through.Pero antes de los títulos y las certificaciones, está mi historia como migrante, que es la razón de ser de Bilingualearn. Como muchos de ustedes, pasé por visas de estudiante, por la visa COVID, por cursos VET, e incluso logré una residencia en Canadá. Fue un camino largo, hecho de exámenes, papeleo y recomenzar una y otra vez. Y en ese camino, Australia fue el país que me cautivó: aquí decidí quedarme, y aquí nació la idea de ayudar a otros migrantes latinos a no perderse en el mismo laberinto que yo recorrí.

No enseño solo estrategias de examen. Acompaño un proceso migratorio completo, porque lo he vivido.
